To accomplish this mission STOP the NOISE will bring about changes in the attitudes of citizens, regulators and legislators.  

STOP the NOISE believes that the true cost of aerobatic and recreational flying is borne by the people on the ground who are forced to subsidize such activities by absorbing the waste noise dumped upon them. We believe that without this forced subsidy, recreational flying would be too expensive a hobby to continue at its current level and would cease to be a problem.  

STOP the NOISE shall propose changes to the law and regulations in order to make the recreational aviation industry more subordinate to the land owning public.

STOP the NOISE shall work to expose abuses of power, bad faith, and dereliction of duty by regulators charged with enforcing the laws and regulations enacted in the public interest to ensure public safety and to preserve the quality of life of the American people.
